Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund aside from service charges
Processing Time: 5-7 working days
Processing Fee: €50 for credit card payments
Conditions: Must be formally requested through email or call
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the total cost of the charter
Processing Time: 7-10 working days
Processing Fee: €25 deducted from the refund amount
Conditions: A valid reason is needed; subject to administrative fees
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Refund is not available
Exception: Consideration may be given in emergency situations
Alternative: Company may provide credit for a future charter depending on the situation
Conditions: Proof is necessary for emergency scenarios
Cancellation Policies Due to Weather
Our Commitment to Weather Safety
Ensuring safety is our foremost concern. In the event that our certified skipper determines that weather conditions are not conducive for safe charter activities, we provide several adaptable alternatives:
- Complete Refund: Receive a full refund if changing the date is not feasible
- Schedule Adjustment: Transfer your booking to an upcoming available slot without paying extra fees
- Credit for Future Charter: Obtain a voucher that remains valid for one year from the date of the original booking
Procedure for Weather Evaluation
The following criteria are considered in our weather evaluation:
- Evaluation of wind strength and trajectory
- Examination of wave levels and oceanic conditions
- Forecasts of visibility and precipitation levels
- Notifications and cautions from the Coast Guard
- Assessment of safety by the experienced captain
Time of Decision: Determinations regarding weather-related cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the planned departure time.
Refunds in Medical Emergencies
Critical Health Situations
Medical emergencies can arise unexpectedly, and we are sympathetic to such situations. The following instances may be eligible for exceptional refund consideration:
- Unforeseen illness or accident necessitating hospital care
- Bereavement of a close family member
- Unscheduled military orders or imperative recall
- Serving on a jury or being subpoenaed to court
- Natural calamities that impede travel plans
Required Proof for Refunds
Comprehensive evidence is needed to process requests for emergency refunds, including:
- Certification from a medical practitioner or hospital records
- Mortal remains certificate, if relevant
- Documented military directives
- Official notice for court appearance or jury service
- Government travel warnings or declarations of crisis
Refund Procedure: We manage to process emergency refunds in a timeframe of 3-5 business days once all necessary documentation has been submitted.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
Should the assigned boat suffer mechanical failures that remain unresolved:
- Alternative Vessel: Efforts will be made to arrange a similar replacement
- Full Refund: Granted when no appropriate replacement is attainable
- Partial Refund: Issued if the substitute vessel's cost differs
- Compensation: Consideration for further compensation for the trouble may be given
Crew Unavailability
On the uncommon occasions of certified crew non-availability:
- A replacement crew will be sought as a solution when feasible
- Full reimbursement if the charter is unable to go ahead
- Option to reschedule without incurring extra charges
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Reimbursements are processed back to the originally used payment method for reservation:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days
Processing Fees
Credit Card Processing
€50 fee for cancellations executed over 72 hours beforehand
Bank Transfer Processing
€25 fee for all reimbursements via bank transfer
International Processing
Extra charges may be applicable for international operations
Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
Certain scenarios may present the option of charter credits as an alternative to reimbursements:
- Late cancellation notices (fewer than 24 hours prior)
- Cancellations due to weather conditions
- Voluntary changes of schedule
- Disturbances in operational activities
Credit Terms
- Validity: 12 months from the date of issuance
- Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to other individuals
- Value: Equates to the complete value of the charter (exempt from processing charges)
- Usage: Appliable towards any open charter bookings
- Expiration: Credits must be utilized within 12 months without extension
Refund Policies for Partial Services
Service Disruptions
Should your chartered service be disrupted or cut short due to situations we are responsible for:
- Proportional refund in accordance with the period not utilized
- Voucher for a future charter of the same value
- Additional complimentary services or enhancements
Interruptions Caused by Guests
If a charter is concluded prematurely due to the actions or safety infractions of a guest:
- No reimbursement for the period not used
- Complete payment is still required
- Potential extra fees
Method for Resolving Disputes
If you find a refund decision unsatisfactory, you have the option to:
- Ask for our management to re-evaluate
- Supply additional proof or documents
- Engage with consumer protection organizations
- Use legal options within the bounds of the law

Ensure your refund request includes:

- Cancellation's cause

- Your preferred mode of refund
Step 3: Assessment and Implementation
We pledge to acknowledge receipt of your request in 24 hours, evaluate it in accordance with our policies within 48 hours, and proceed with processing the approved reimbursements within the designated periods.
Essential Details
- All refund submissions must be in writing
- Refunds are issued in €, independent of the original payment's currency
- Obtaining travel insurance is highly advised
- Policy is amendable with a 30-day advisory period
- Refunds are inclusive of relevant taxes and laws
